Alibaba Cloud US Silicon Valley Lightweight Application Server Review: Native IP Unlocks TikTok/AI, etc.
This article shares the evaluation data of Alibaba Cloud's Lightweight Application Server in the US Silicon Valley (San Jose) data center. To briefly summarize: US native IP, unlocking TikTok, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Netflix, AmazonPV, etc.; Intel Xeon Platinum processor, Unix bench test with a single-core score of 1088 and a dual-core score of 1795, showing decent current performance; FIO test with 4K data shows both read and write speeds at 6.82 MB/s and IOPS at 1.7K, indicating that the official limits on individual VM usage are quite obvious.

The CPU used by the server is Intel Xeon Platinum (specific model unknown) with a main frequency of 2.5GHz. The underlying virtualization is KVM. BBR has been enabled. It does not support IPv6. It uses Alibaba Cloud's own network, with the IP location showing as Los Angeles, USA. The current actual I/O test is approximately 149.3 MB/s.
FIO test with 4K data shows both read and write speeds at 6.82 MB/s, and IOPS at 1.7K. The official limits on individual VM usage are very obvious.
IPERF3 speed test, the sending and receiving data performance of some international nodes is as follows:
Approximate status of some streaming media unlocks: Claude, Gemini, Steam currency, etc., are supported.
Unix bench test, single-core score is 1088, dual-core score is 1795, current performance is decent.
