The IPv4 network of LAX-B COM is optimized for the Mainland China direction, currently mainly utilizing:

• China Telecom: CN2

• China Unicom: AS9929

For the Los Angeles node, what truly affects the experience of mainland users is often not pure physical distance, but the quality of cross-border links, the degree of outbound congestion, and evening peak performance. CN2 and AS9929 belong to the higher-positioned bearer networks within the China Telecom and China Unicom systems, respectively. Compared to standard international outbound routes, they are more suitable for businesses sensitive to cross-border stability, latency fluctuations, and peak-hour network performance. Therefore, the COM series is more suitable for:

• Websites and APIs targeting Mainland China users

• Cross-border SaaS and business backends

• Overseas business origin-pull (back-to-source)

• Remote development and operations (O&M)

• Reverse proxy and network forwarding

• File synchronization and large-traffic transmission

• Applications requiring stability during evening peak hours

It should be noted that actual network performance will still be affected by the user's region, local ISP, real-time routing, and network load. Therefore, the line name cannot replace actual test results.

Looking at the configuration tiers, COM does not simply increase CPU and RAM; as the specifications scale up, the port speed and traffic allowance increase synchronously. For proxy, forwarding, file distribution, high-throughput APIs, and other high-bandwidth businesses, this resource allocation is more practical than traditional small-bandwidth VPS. Note: 10 Gbps refers to the server port capability and does not mean that any region or destination can continuously run at full speed.

IPv4 + IPv6 Dual Stack, but with Different Line Positioning

LAX-B COM provides both IPv4 + IPv6.

The network positioning of the two is not exactly the same:

• IPv4: Optimized for Mainland China, Telecom CN2, Unicom AS9929

• IPv6: International network, no optimization for Mainland China

Therefore, if your primary users are located in Mainland China, it is recommended to prioritize IPv4 for core services. IPv6 is more suitable for dual-stack compatibility, international access, and other scenarios that do not rely on optimized routes to Mainland China.
