Tencent Cloud Lighthouse US Silicon Valley VPS Review: TikTok Unlocked, Powerful Hardware
This article presents a review of Tencent Cloud's Lighthouse (Lightweight Application Server) in the Silicon Valley, USA data center. For details, please refer to the full text. A brief summary is as follows: AMD EPYC 9754, DDR5, NVMe SSD—looks powerful on paper; FIO test with 4K data shows read speed of 52.09 MB/s (approx. 13K IOPS) and write speed of 52.16 MB/s (approx. 13K IOPS), which is average and might be intentionally limited; UnixBench scores are 901 for single-core and 1498 for dual-core, which is decent and not too bad. This fully demonstrates that even the best hardware cannot withstand heavy user congestion, or the official platform has imposed performance limits on individual VMs. The broadcast IP unlocks TikTok, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Steam currency, etc.

Special Note: The machine used for this test is the "Entry-level Package (Basic)" with only 30 Mbps bandwidth. It is recommended to go for the 200 Mbps "Ruichi Package" (Advanced Package).
Ruichi Package: KVM virtualization, default 200 Mbps bandwidth, unlimited traffic, comes with 1 IPv4.
